Salomon Fashion Trainers L47576700031 Editorial Review
The SALOMON Men's Elixir Tour Waterproof Walking Shoe has garnered a mixed reception from customers who appreciate its comfort, waterproof capabilities, and lightweight design, but have expressed concerns regarding sizing and fit. Many users report that these shoes deliver on their promise of warmth and dryness even in challenging weather conditions, including snow and wet environments. The shoes are generally well-made, and the grip and stability received positive mentions, which enhance the overall walking experience, particularly when navigating uneven terrains. However, sizing seems to be a common issue among customers. While some found the shoes true to size or comfortable after adjusting laces, others noted they run smaller, leading to discomfort, particularly for those with wider feet. This discrepancy in sizing has resulted in some customers needing to upsize more than once to achieve a proper fit. Additionally, initial squeaking from the shoe soles has been reported by several users, although this seems to subside after a brief period of use. The aesthetic appeal of the shoes was also mentioned, with customers appreciating the stylish design. Nevertheless, some expressed dissatisfaction with the durability of the waterproof feature and the amount of glue residue visible, which detracts slightly from the overall presentation. In summary, while the SALOMON Men's Elixir Tour Waterproof Walking Shoe excels in functionality and style, Prospective buyers should be cautious about sizing, as it tends to run small for some, and may not accommodate wider feet comfortably. **
