    • Question: Can these tie bars be used for racing applications?

      Answer: No, they are not suitable for racing applications.
    • Question: Are these tie bars made of steel or stainless steel?

      Answer: They are made of high-class stainless steel.
    • Question: Are these tie bars easily adjustable?

      Answer: Yes, they are easily adjustable before or after installation.
    • Question: What is the stud length & nut thread?

      Answer: About 1 1/2" long and is 3/8" fine thread.
    • Question: Are the sizes measured center to center of the bolts?

      Answer: Yes.
    • Question: I assume the joint will accommodate one engine up will the other is down?

      Answer: The bar twists, which will allow tilt/trim. The real issue is whether there is sufficient clearance between the bar and the cowling if only one engine is trimmed/tilted. If only one motor is trimmed/tilted, the angle of the tie bar changes in relation to the motors. On 150 Yamahas, it is very tight in trim. To tilt, must run both motors up simultaneously.
    • Question: What size is is the bolt and nut?

      Answer: M12.
    • Question: I have a catamaran with twin Yamaha 150 motors. The measurement from the centerline to each motor is 60 inches. Will your largest tie bar work?

      Answer: No. They can make it that long, but it is recommended to use a liquid tie bar with a liquid tie bar alignment valve.
    • Question: What is length center to center?

      Answer: 28-inch.
    • Question: I am trying to connect my Yamaha 15hp trolling to my 150hp Yamaha main motor. Will this work? If so, what is the best size bar to use?

      Answer: Not sure, but anything is possible. They make kicker motor kits just for this purpose.
