Movies Editorial Review
Sometimes Always Never is an intriguing film directed by Carl Hunter, featuring Bill Nighy. This drama-comedy weaves together surreal elements with a dreamlike quality, utilizing unusual lighting and striking camera angles. The film has garnered mixed reactions, with some praising its unique approach and the authenticity of the local accents, particularly in the portrayal of its quirky characters. Viewers should not expect laughter in the traditional sense but rather an artistic exploration of human relationships, akin to the works of Samuel Beckett. The runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes allows for a slow but thoughtful pacing that some may find refreshing while others deem tedious.
