Answer: I don't know why it is leaking - perhaps you overheated it? I have 2 and heat for 2 1/2 minutes, 1 minute on one side and the rest on the other side, we have had no bother. -

What does this hottie measure diagonally across then please....does it rotate in an ordinary microwave???
Answer: Diagonally it measures approx 28cm, it fits in my microwave and rotates perfectly, I put it on for 1 minute (750 watt microwave) then turn it over for another 1 minute, once safely in the cover you can mould it for a knee, shoulder, back, etc. I can honestly say it's a fantastic buy, I couldn't be without mine, it's really good for deep pain as well. Answer: Hi, it's hard when cold after heating it becomes Malleable. No, not gel beans filling. -

Answer: Yep. Washed many many times in the washing machine along with normal wash at 40 deg, no problem. -

Answer: Hotties covers are not sold separately (unlike spare heat pads). They can be washed on a gentle cycle though. -

My microwave is very old and doesn't rotate. How important is it that it rotates?
Answer: It must rotate to heat evenly which will avoid hot spots and prevent the item from leaking -
