My house is not typical brick and mortar, it's boulder slate brick, do I just drill 9 inch or wherever I can hit mortar?
Answer: These rods prevent rising damp by impregnating the mortar course with a fluid. They need to span the entire depth and length of your wall without gaps. If your mortar course is thick, they may not be effective. It is recommended to use creams such as DAMPCURE. -
