Answer: No, it is not recommended for use on hair with more than 10% grey coverage. -

Answer: It lasts from 4 to 6 weeks, fading gradually with each shampoo. -

Answer: No, it is PETA accredited and tested on celebrities, not animals. -
Question:
Has anyone tried this turquoise color on dark brown hair?
Answer: The turquoise is the most vibrant of the colors and it lasts the longest by far. You do not need to lighten darker hair but it will only tint over whatever color you have so if you want a bright turquoise result you'll need to lighten. I have ginger hair and I lighten my tips only and ombré the turquoise in. It's pretty easy to do. Just search you tube for bleach ombré tutorials. -
Question:
Is this permanent dye? How long does the color last, roughly?
Answer: It depends on your hair type, and how you treat your hair. For me, my colours last until I want to change them (roughly 3-6 months). If you blow dry your hair, or use styling products, or are in the sun frequently, the colour will last a shorter amount of time. If you want to extend the colour, wash in cold water (yeah, I know. eek!), avoid previously mentioned things, and add a little colour to your conditioner. If you need to get the colour out, you can wash in very warm water with a clarifying shampoo, a mixture of dawn soap and baking soda, or use a soap cap. (This involves a little bleach, so only do this if you really need to get it out.) -
Question:
Does it work on black or brown hair?
Answer: It may work on lighter brown hair, but I don't think it will work on black hair. It works well on blonde, but as its a semi-permanent color it needs to be re-applied to keep color. -
Question:
I know that hair dye is hard on your hair any way, but how bad is manic panic?
Answer: It's not bad for your hair. The color just sits on your hair, it doesn't break its way in like permanent dyes that chemically process. MP conditions your hair. -

Does manic panic contain peroxide?
Answer: It is not listed in the ingredients :) -

I heard that they were vegan. Is this one vegan?
Answer: Yes, all manic panic products are vegan. -
Question:
How long should wait to use the color dye after bleaching?
Answer: I am not a hairdresser, but I have used the product often, and I dye the hair as soon as it's dry after bleaching because I would think it would be more porous and absorb the color better. Plus, bleaching dries the hair out, and dyeing it with vegetable dye like this right afterwards might help seal the cuticle and 'repair' the hair a little better. (My husband is a hairdresser, and that's what he tells me!) -

I have natural white (grey) hair. Will this product take the yellow out of my hair? Will I still need to leave it in overnight?
Answer: I have natural silver w some gray, I use cotton candy & its FANTASTIC! 1 of the best colors I've used, and I LOVE that it's cruelty free!!! -
