ESI Xjam Editorial Review
ESI Xjam USB MIDI Performance Controller is a compact MIDI pad controller featuring 16 pressure-sensitive pads that cater to various music software applications. It seamlessly connects via USB-C, making it highly compatible with devices such as Mac, PC, iPad, and iPhone. Users appreciate the programmable scene presets offered by this controller, facilitating easy customization for performances. However, some reviews indicate inconsistency in pad sensitivity, where some require a higher pressure than others, leading to mixed experiences. Despite this, its lightweight design and minimalist aesthetic make it convenient for musicians looking for a portable solution. Overall, it is a good option for finger drumming and other MIDI performance needs.
