MOERTEK Multipurpose CM16 Editorial Review
**** The USB Microphone for PC has garnered a favorable reception from users who appreciate its stylish design and enhanced sound quality compared to standard built-in laptop microphones. With a focus on voice clarity and noise cancellation, it has proven to be a solid choice for various applications, from video calls and streaming to podcast recordings. Setup is incredibly straightforward, highlighting its plug-and-play functionality, although users may need to manually select the device in video call applications like Zoom for it to work properly. Once configured, the microphone performs excellently in terms of sound clarity, providing a distinct improvement, especially in addressing background noise. The built-in touch-sensitive mute button is intuitive, featuring visual indicators that signal the microphone's status clearly — a feature praised by users for its practicality in professional settings. However, some users have experienced challenges with the audio monitoring during live calls, noting that they couldn't hear other participants while using the microphone — a potential issue that may stem from audio routing conflicts with the built-in headphone jack. Despite this, users commend the general sound quality and solid build, calling it a good investment for those in need of an external microphone. Overall, while the microphone has its drawbacks, particularly in live audio monitoring, it remains a commendable option for individuals looking for excellent voice recording capabilities and user-friendly features. First-time users report satisfaction with its performance, making it suitable for casual use, especially for those doing regular recordings or remote meetings. **
