Customers like how they no longer have to crimp twice with a two-notch crimp tool. However, it does require some practice to appropriately line everything up correctly, and some customers still find it challenging to get the hang of. The tool puts fold lines on two sides of the bead, which is better than what a standard two-notch crimp tool does to the beads. It can go between the last bead and a finding, but some customers find it very clumsy to use. One customer also reported that it leaves a bulging piece on one side if used with Softflex heavy heading wire that is 22 gauge / 0.609mm thick.
