Aves Modeling Compounds Apoxie Sculpt 1 Lb. Super White Editorial Review
Apoxie Sculpt is a two-part epoxy sculpting compound that hardens overnight and becomes malleable for 3 hours with some water on your tool (fingers?) to smooth it. The sculpting material is great to work with, it cures solid, holds up to sanding and drilling, takes paint and gloss, and blends well into the original flawlessly. It’s very strong, and if worked on until it's nice and soft, it takes details in silicone molds very well. The product does not shrink, unlike polymer clay. Apoxie Sculpt comes in two containers of equal size and volume that are gray in color, but it's also available in other colors. The regular white is more of a dust white color and is more like a pale gray. However, the super white is a glossy, shiny white, and is ideal if you want the white to show since it won't blend well with colored components. Apoxie sculpt can be used to fix missing antler tips, sculpt missing parts, and fill cracks and missing pieces. It's also useful in mosaic art, to add flowers to resin art or create custom funko pops.
