How effective would this camera (with a pi) be as a serveillance camera, esp for outdoor use?
Answer: You’d want to focus on four things, all achievable.n1. Noir camera doe infrared as thisneknt do itn2. Weatherproof enclosuren3. Reliability (power, network connection as you record to drives and maybe text yourself when it’s triggered)n4. Securing the device so it doesn’t grow legs and walk away if you know what I mean -

Answer: Angle of View: 62.2 x 48.8 degr -

Did they ever fix the focus issue, or do I need to refocus with a razor blade?
Answer: Mine worked great out of the box! My project required me to adjust the focus however so I used a small flat head screw driver. Later I found a focus tool included in the box which would have been nice but not necessary. Once you find the focus setting you like dab a little bit of super glue on the edg -

So which is it? 1080p30 or 1080p60 for video?
Answer: The sensor is capable of 1080p60, but the Pi itself will max out processing 1080p30. Shoot, technically the sensor is capable of 4k video, so here's looking forward to the Pi5 that can handle that too, down the road! :D -

Does it work with a raspberry pi zero w?
Answer: Yes, although you’ll need an adapter due to the port on the Pi 0 W being smaller. -

Answer: It does work with the Pi 0, but you do need an adapter. -

Answer: Yes, but you’ll need an adapter for the ribbon cable. -

Answer: Its the same as the raspberry pi 2.5mm but you can drill out to more common 3mm. -

What are the wavelength specs on this camera?
Answer: I don't know, but it isn't an IR camera, if that's what you're really asking.
