Answer: Not sure on the exact measurement, but it fits your standard tapered broom handle. The spear itself works great. We have used them for 3 seasons with no issues.

The Eagle Claw AFROG5 Frog Spear is a tempered steel small gig that has received mixed reviews from customers.
