The AmeriLite Chrome Replacement Brake Tail Lights Set is a great upgrade for Ford Excursion and Econoline Van owners who want a custom look. The lights fit well and look good, but the gasket takes some time to fit correctly around the light. One issue is that the top red area has a place for another lamp that some vans do not have. Some customers had difficulty with the rubber weather seal, which did not fit, and were forced to use the stock gasket from the original taillights. Another issue was the melted plastic caused by the bulbs in the stock light bulbs getting too hot. Some customers opted to buy LED bulbs to solve this issue. The housing of the lights also isn't quite OEM dimensions. Overall, the lights are affordable and look cool, but require some work to install.
