Microsoft Excel Editorial Review
The "Excel Workbook For Dummies 2nd Edition" has garnered a mixed reception from customers, showcasing both strengths and weaknesses in its approach to teaching Excel. Many users appreciate the clear and concise directions offered within the book, highlighting its effectiveness as a resource for those seeking to understand more than just the basic functionalities of Excel. Reviewers frequently laud the workbook for its extensive coverage of topics, suggesting it stands as a valuable reference tool for learners of all skill levels. However, several customers have expressed disappointment regarding a significant issue: the lack of accessible data files that are referenced throughout the book. This absence has left some users without the practical examples necessary to practice what they learn, severely limiting the workbook's effectiveness. For beginners, this particular hurdle has proven particularly frustrating, as they find themselves struggling without the interactive components that would facilitate a deeper understanding of the program. In summary, while the "Excel Workbook For Dummies 2nd Edition" offers strong instructional content and serves as a comprehensive guide for a varied audience, it falls short due to technical shortcomings that hinder the learning experience, particularly for novices. **
