Testors Paints 9160BT Editorial Review
The Testors Flat Finish Enamel Paint Set has garnered an overwhelmingly positive reception among customers, particularly for those interested in model building, whether they are novices or returning hobbyists. Users appreciate the comprehensive nature of the kit, which includes essential items such as paints, glue, sandpaper, brushes, and a hobby knife. This all-in-one approach simplifies the model-building process, making it an excellent choice for gifting someone starting in the hobby. The color selection, particularly the flat military colors, is a highlight for many, effectively meeting the needs of model projects ranging from airplanes to tanks. Users have reported a satisfying experience in using the paints, noting that they provide the quality expected from the Testors brand. Several reviews mention the surprise and satisfaction with how complete the kit is, emphasizing that the extras like varied grit sandpaper and specialized glue enhance its value. However, one minor critique revolves around the visibility of color markings on the paint bottles, particularly for older users who might struggle with smaller text due to eyesight issues. Nonetheless, this has not significantly impacted the overall satisfaction rate. Overall, the Testors Flat Finish Enamel Paint Set is recommended for those new to model building or as a thoughtful gift for seasoned hobbyists. Its thoughtful inclusivity of materials and high-quality paints positions it as a reliable option for enhancing model-building experiences. **
