Petmate Litter Pan is a great product for those who have a problem with litter flying out or tracking on feet. Not only is it easy to clean, but with its hinged lid, it also helps to control the amount of litter getting scattered. The box is slightly tapered, but its dimensions are almost 15" x 15" at the bottom of the box. It comes with holes in the lid to allow litter to fall back through into the box, a small hook to hang the litter scoop on and is large enough to avoid the need for a liner. The lid also has a curved lip, which creates a 10" wide top opening that is easy for even a tiny kitten to get in and out of. This box provides enough space for an average-sized 9-month-old cat weighing around 8-9 pounds. The box does not have a reusable litter liner and fits Petmate boxes only.
