The calculator also performs logarithms, reciprocals, powers, roots, factorials, trigs, and hyperbolic trig. However, it does not have an equation solver function, but the EL-506TSBBW model does have quadratic and cubic equation solvers. Users have reported that the calculator has a good fit and finish, and it is easy to read and use. The display shows commas in the answer line but not in the input line, and there is no percent key, but users have reported that it performs well for its price. On the downside, one user reported that the calculator stops working after six months of use despite changing batteries. Another user finds it hard to make the user manual a searchable PDF, which is necessary for a scientific calculator. Additionally, one user reported that the screen scratches over time.
