The B-RAD 2 base raises the cage by approximately 3/16 of an inch from the down tube and allows for cage adjustment of 2 inches. The bolts are M5 thread, the same as the water bottle tapped threads in the bike frame. The plastic washers go between the bolt and the B-RAD base. The medium B-RAD 3 can fit on mounts that are 5.25 inches (133mm) apart, allowing for multiple water bottle storage. Overall, the B-RAD Mounting Base is solidly constructed and easy to install, providing a good value for those in need of extra water bottle space on their bikes.
