General Tools Screwdrivers ‎3601MD Editorial Review

The General Tools 360 Magnetizer/Demagnetizer is a versatile tool for magnetizing and demagnetizing screwdrivers. However, it should be noted that the magnetism does not last very long and the magnetic field it creates is not very strong. While it is considered the best on the market, it does not perform as well as an older version from the 1970s. Users have found it useful for organizing their screwdrivers and reducing the time it takes to put things back together. The demagnetization process involves rapidly passing the screwdriver in and out of the tool multiple times. The magnetization may weaken after 4 to 6 months of regular use.
