The vacuum cleaner is not safe for water pickup and is dry only. The backpack has loops and straps on the straps/harness to keep the tools in place. The hard floor tool is safe for glossy expensive hardwood floors if the bristles on the combination floor tool are engaged. However, the vacuum cleaner clogs frequently, and the hose for the wand is long and cumbersome for someone with a shorter arm.
