Tether Tools Mounting Hardware RSEX8 Editorial Review
The Tether Tools Rock Solid Accessory Extension Bar has garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from users in the photography community. Many customers appreciate its lightweight design and the rugged support it provides for heavier camera accessories like flashes and microphones. For instance, one reviewer mentioned using the bar to hold three Nikon SB-700 flashes on a Nikon D850, emphasizing that it maintained its rigidity under a load exceeding 10 pounds, which is crucial for night bird photography. However, several users also expressed concerns regarding the bar’s build quality. Issues such as sharp edges, slightly narrow slots that cause accessories to jam, and problems with the threaded shaft bending have been reported. One user noted that the bar was not perfectly straight, suggesting potential manufacturing defects. These concerns indicate that while the bar serves a functional purpose, users might need to handle it with care to prevent damage over time. Overall, the Tether Tools Rock Solid Accessory Extension Bar offers a solid solution for expanding accessory options on DSLR cameras, provided users are gentle in their handling to maintain its longevity. **
