      Answer: The mobile bit evenly distributes pressure across the tongue and bars of the mouth without disturbing the roof of the mouth.

      Answer: The thicker mouthpiece of the mobile bit is softer on the corners and bars of the mouth, providing a more comfortable experience for the horse.

      Answer: The mobile bit, made of hard rubber, is ideal for young horses who are accepting their first bit.
    • Question: How thick is it?

      Answer: It is quite thick, maybe an inch.
    • Question: Best length for average horse?

      Answer: I have found it an ok length, and love my Mules response. check utubes BarryHook
    • Question: Will this bit work with a horse with a sensitive mouth/ soft mouth?

      Answer: Yes it will help. My horse had to have surgery to remove a tooth and was very sensitive. I used a hackamore for a while and then went to this bit. Now I am back to my regular steel bits.
    • Question: Is this a good bit for breaking a horse?

      Answer: If you will look into u tube Barry Hook (Horsedrawnpromotions.net) you will get a first hand exposure of the rubber bit, I use it on a mule, green and he resonds better than anything I have ever used. You can take a hold of them and ask them to do whatever and not cause any pain. They like the way it feels and my mule actually arches his neck. not easy for a mule. Will never use anything else.
    • Question: Is this bit good for dressage?

      Answer: Kelly, Depends on the level, but Loose Ring snaffles and Eggbutt Snaffles are most popular.
    • Question: How flexible is this bit? Aka, if you try to bend it in half how far can you bend it?

      Answer: You can bend it almost halfway more flexible compared to a happy mouth but not flimsy like black rubbers I've seen. The mouth piece is very thick.
    • Question: What is the width of the rubber in mm? Is it made of recycled tires, if not than what??

      Answer: IT WAS SUPPOWED TO BE 5.5' BUT IT WAS ONLY 5'. VERY DISSAPPOINTING.
    • Question: What is in the inside? Like is is all rubber or is there something in it?

      Answer: All rubber. Great for my overly sensitive Hanoverian.
