With a heavy-duty oversized seat, it provides support and prevents pain during long gigs or practice sessions. The seat is pretty wide and is easy to adjust the height. The only drawback is the handle that spins along with the seat making it a bit hard to locate it without looking. The throne also comes with an available backrest. However, one customer who bought a new version of the throne recently expressed disappointment over the changes made to the seat's back. The backrest now has a mesh design that seems to be a cheaper alternative and is heavier than before. The way the backrest goes together now requires the bracket to be disassembled to attach it to the backpiece. While this may be acceptable for a studio setup, it might not suit a gigging drummer who likes to break down and pack their gear.
