Blu-ray 41775831 Editorial Review
NIGHTCRAWLER BLU-RAY - VARIO; Jake Gyllenhaal delivers a chilling performance as Lou Bloom, a desperate individual who immerses himself into the world of night-time crime scene reporting. The film artfully captures his morbid obsession with capturing tragedies on camera to sell to news stations, providing a satirical take on the media's exploitation of violence for ratings. With compelling supporting performances from Riz Ahmed and Rene Russo, the film weaves complex character dynamics, particularly highlighting Bloom's manipulative nature. Critics commend Gyllenhaal's transformation into a psychopathic figure, and the movie's gripping narrative delivers twists that keep viewers engaged throughout. It artfully captures the dark allure of a world where morality is blurred by ambition and success.
