Birchall Black Editorial Review
Birchall Tea | Lapsang Souchong | Smoked Black Tea | 125g Loose Leaf, Charcoal Grey offers a unique and enjoyable taste experience, although it has sparked mixed reviews regarding its flavor. While some drinkers appreciate the high-quality leaves and the deep amber color of the brewed tea, others have noted a distinct lack of smokiness characteristic of traditional Lapsang Souchong. The leaves maintain a dustless form and exhibit a reasonable quality, allowing for multiple infusions, which can yield different hues. However, many have expressed disappointment in the tea’s aroma and taste, with a consensus that it does not quite meet expectations for a classic Lapsang Souchong tea. Overall, it may appeal to those looking for a decent black tea rather than a robustly flavored smoky variety, leading to varied ratings, with some enjoying the experience while others seek stronger alternatives.
