The DMT D8C 8-Inch Dia-Sharp Continuous Diamond Coarse sharpening stone has received an overwhelmingly positive reception from customers who appreciate its quality and performance. Users have noted a significant improvement in their sharpening results, often comparing the DMT stone favorably against traditional 1000 grit wet stones. Customers highlighted the stone’s ability to produce razor-sharp edges efficiently, making it suitable for a variety of applications, from kitchen knives to wider plane irons. Many reviews emphasize the durability and convenience of diamond stones, praising the fact that they do not require leveling like traditional water stones. The fast cutting capabilities have impressed even seasoned users, allowing for effective reprofiling of blades in a fraction of the time. Beginners have also found the stone accessible, noting that it provides quick feedback on their sharpening skill, such as burr creation. Some users have raised concerns regarding product quality and Consistency, with few reporting issues such as pitting on the sharpening surface. While these instances appear to be rare, they suggest that quality control may need some improvement. In cases of defective items, customers reported satisfactory experiences with returns. Overall, the DMT D8C proves to be an excellent investment for those serious about sharpening tools, with many endorsing it as a critical part of their sharpening kit. **
