Growing Up & Facts of Life Editorial Review
"The Rainbow Fish" is a children's book that aims to teach the importance of sharing. However, some reviewers found the message confusing and problematic. The story follows a little fish who gives away his scales to be accepted by his friends, ultimately ending up with none. While the book suggests that the fish has earned his friends, some readers felt that this sends a negative message about seeking acceptance based on physical attributes. On a positive note, many reviewers appreciated the beautiful illustrations and the classic story about sharing. The book was well-received by children who enjoyed reading it during bath time. However, there were some complaints about the print quality and the lack of shiny scales, which were promised in the item description. Additionally, the book was smaller than anticipated, but still Considered worth it by some buyers. Overall, "The Rainbow Fish" receives mixed reviews. While it has its strengths in terms of its message about sharing and appeal to children, the conflicting message and issues with print quality may deter some potential buyers.
