Although it is advertised as suitable for six-year-olds, it seems that it may be too difficult for a child of this age to complete. While the instructions are good, some pieces don't fit as they should, and the wood can be difficult to work with. Despite some challenges, the finished model is great to look at and satisfyingly rewarding to build. We recommend sanding and waxing the movable parts for the best results.
