The Estes Alpha III Rocket Launch Set is a moderately easy and engaging activity for children to Construct and launch a rocket. The set comes with everything, except for batteries, glue, tools, motors, igniters, and recovery wadding, and after a trip to the local hobby store, it can be assembled in an hour and launched. The rocket can accept A to C engines, and after the first launch with an A8-3 engine, a range of engine choices is available. It can reach altitudes of up to 1000 feet and has a parachute for a safe return to the launch site. However, some customers had issues with the launch mechanism, broken or incomplete parts, and poor packaging. Overall, the majority of customers found it an excellent product for its price.
