- This gauge is a highly accurate measuring device developed specifically for woodworking. It can be used to set saw blade and router bit height as well as set the distance from a router fence to the bit. Constructed of high quality anodized aluminum along with hardened and ground stainless steel components insures long term measuring accuracy. The magnetic base allows easy positioning for measurements on cast iron table tops. The large easy to read display reads in inches with fractions or millimeters. The fractions are displayed using precise fraction technology which gives you 4 times the accuracy of other fraction readouts. The decimal inches are displayed in .001 In. increments, the fractions in 1/64 In., and the millimeters in .05 mm increments. Accuracy is .001 decimal inches, 1/500 fraction inches, and .025 mm metric.
