The Bachmann Trains - Thunder Valley Ready To Run Electric Train Set is a basic N scale train set that comes with a circular track and a power supply that can also work with HO train sets. The snap tracks are easy to use and can be placed on a hard wood floor or low pile carpet. It is important to note that roadbed types take up more space. Atlas flex track can connect to Bachmann track but Midland cork roadbed should be used to maintain the same height. Customer experience and reception seemed mixed with some people enjoying the product and others having issues. One customer found that the freight cars had trouble connecting and the train derailed easily, leading to frustration. Another customer bought it as a gift but found that it did not work. However, a customer who purchased it for their teenage son found that their son really enjoyed it and did not mind the small size. Another customer found that it was the perfect size for their small apartment Christmas tree and added extra track to make an oval layout.
