Raspberry Pi Single Board Computers W125916768 Editorial Review
The Official Raspberry Pi 4B Slide Case in black is a cool and inexpensive solution for housing your Raspberry Pi. It is a clear case, not black as advertised, but users generally find it visually appealing with its clever use of the logo for airflow. However, some customers experienced overheating issues, with one even reporting that the case melted onto their SD card, posing a safety hazard. It would be wise to closely monitor the temperature when using this case. While the case lacks a viewing port for the LEDs, this is a minor complaint, as users can easily create one themselves. Another suggested improvement is the addition of a power cycling button to reduce wear on the RPi USB-C connector. Overall, the initial impression of this case is favorable, with customers appreciating its handsome appearance and the ability to modify it easily. However, the potential overheating issue raises concerns about its functionality and safety.
