This counterweight brings a microphone stand base weight up to a stable 13 pounds without placing the counterweight up on the boom arm. The slot width is 7/8 inch and will fit, in the clear with no interference, around the VERTICAL shaft of the On Stage MS7201B microphone stand. Users have found the six-pound weight to be perfect for counterbalancing an SM58, and it can also be used to weight down a Neewler tripod. However, if in doubt, it's best to measure the diameter of your stand before purchasing.
