The pump was an exact fit for upgrading an old pump and it came with oil. Customers were happy with the price point and the manufacturer's use of non-rusting parts in the pump. One customer used it to attach to a 2.5 HP pool motor, which the pump performed adequately with, but the manufacturer recommends a 6.5hp or higher motor.
