This 2.9-inch E-Ink display module is a great addition to any project that requires a low-power display with a quick refresh and great contrast. One reviewer had issues with the manufacturer's instructions and source code but others found it simple to use and appreciated the lack of distraction from not having a backlight. The display does not come with inbuilt memory so a microcontroller like an ESP32 or a Raspberry Pi is required for use. The display works well with Adafruit GFX library and with a Raspberry Pi Zero with headers soldered in. Some users experienced dead spots but this may have been due to their own fault.
