IS335 Dash Mountable Auxiliary Input Adapter

The iSimple IS335 Dash Mountable Auxiliary Input Adapter has garnered a mixed but generally positive reception among users looking to upgrade their vehicle audio systems. Customers appreciate the ease of installation and functionality, particularly for older models where modern connections are often absent. The design allows for installation directly from the finished side of the dashboard, which many found convenient, avoiding the hassle of removing Console components. A significant highlight is the reliability of the adapter itself; most users reported that it performs well, providing clear audio with no noticeable hum or glitches, thus making it suitable for connecting various devices such as iPods and Android smartphones. However, there are some caveats to note. While the adapter fits snugly in the drilled hole, several users pointed out that the friction design could lead to the jack being pulled out with rough handling. To address this, some have found creative solutions involving additional hardware like washers or 'E' rings, as there is no secure backing to hold the jack in place from behind the dashboard. Furthermore, feedback regarding the aesthetics of the adapter's input jack was less favorable; some described the appearance as bulky and unprofessional compared to simple blank jacks. Additionally, the included cables received mixed reviews, with some users substituting them for higher-quality alternatives. Overall, the iSimple IS335 serves as a cost-effective and functional solution for adding auxiliary input, although users should handle the jack gently to avoid dislodging it. **
