It can fit well in a round or rectangular 2 1/2" x 4" hole, as well as a 4-inch diameter round downspout, and can be moulded to fit a specific shape with the help of scissors. The product is effective in preventing rodent infiltration. Although the guards are a bit more flimsy than expected, they do the job. However, some reviewers had trouble with the guards causing more downspout clogs and are sharp on the edges (careful during installation). One reviewer found that these catches everything and one would still have to go up there anyway. Overall, this product is best suited for its effectiveness and affordability.
