It can be used for attaching the ground wire from surge suppressors to the main grounding conductor for new installation only. It is easy to install and looks great, making a professional and functional connection. However, it cannot be used to ground things other than telecommunications and satellite. Also, it only comes in a 1/2" size. On the positive side, customers appreciate that the product works as expected and meets code, and is good value for money.
