The Westek Plug In Motion Sensor Outlet Light Control is a device that activates lights when motion is detected within 25ft range. According to FAQs, the sensor wire is low-voltage, and the device can sense motion in the dark though a little closer to the sensor. It has a cord length of approximately 6ft, and the mounting options include 3m tape or small screws using the mounting hole on the back. However, some customers returned the product, citing that it did not work most of the time, while others found it useful in detecting motion to trigger lights in their shops or activate a fan when the motion is detected. A few customers also mentioned that it is not ideal for outdoor use and cannot detect motion when placed behind glass. Some customers noted that the price is high relative to the cheap parts put inside the device. Nevertheless, it works well for some customers.
