LGBT Editorial Review
"I Can't Think Straight" is a great coming-of-age movie about two young women from the Middle East discovering their true selves and falling in love. The film combines drama, humor, and sadness in a brilliant way, with a talented cast and excellent writing and direction. While the filming was Conservative and could have pushed boundaries more, it remains a heartwarming and funny watch and a refreshingly positive portrayal of LGBTQ+ Indian and Middle Eastern women. The story is unique and sheds light on cultures not often explored in movies. The chemistry between the two lead actors is fantastic, but the editing could have been better.
