Stepfamilies Editorial Review
**** Sofia the First: The Floating Palace is a charming hardcover book that has captured the hearts of young readers, particularly those who adore the world of Sofia and her underwater adventures. Parents Consistently report that their children are enthralled by the book, often wanting to read it every night. The vibrant and captivating illustrations enhance the reading experience, making the story as visually appealing as it is engaging. For many kids, particularly those enamored with mermaids, this book serves as a delightful addition to their collection. While the story recaps elements from the original episodes, some readers have noted that it may feel somewhat condensed or choppy at times. This has led to mixed feelings about its longevity in terms of ongoing appeal. However, the book's medium length fits well within the bedtime story niche, making it suitable for young children who enjoy nightly read-aloud sessions. Parents appreciate how it complements existing episodes and find that it helps to deepen their children’s connection to the Sofia franchise. In essence, Sofia the First: The Floating Palace stands out as a beloved bedtime story that resonates well with its target audience, reviving interest in the show while offering delightful visual storytelling. **
