It dries like paper mache and can be painted with any type of paint when dry. It is not food safe and may not be suitable for large quantities. It can be added to watercolor paper to add texture, but it is thick and hard to dry. There is a slight smell when wet, but it dissipates when it dries. It can be tinted with paints prior to hardening. It can be glued to painted plastic planter pots using E-6000 or Thick and Quick glue.
